
Who we are
M/s. Cosmopolitan Co-Operative Housing Society, a society registered under the Maharashtra Co-Operative Societies Act, 1960, having its registration number KBA/HSG/106, dated July 23, 1965, and having its registered office at M.G. Road, Panvel, Dist. Raigad., being a project affected society requested the City And Industrial Development Corporation Of Maharashtra Limited (“CIDCO”) to allot them a plot of land. Accordingly, CIDCO allotted the plot of land vide a Lease Deed dated February 18, 1993 land bearing Plot No. 182-C, admeasuring 7178.85 sq. mtrs. in Sector- 17 at Nerul, Navi Mumbai to the Society on lease for the term of sixty(60) years and for the purpose of constructing flats for its members. Thereafter, as per resolution passed in the General Body Meeting, Disputant entered into the Agreement for the Development on March 1, 1993, with M/s. Safal Developers Private Limited (“Developers”) granting them the development rights. Further, by virtue of Assignment Agreement dated March 5, 1993, the M/s. Safal Developers Private Limited with the consent of Disputant transferred and assigned the development rights to M/s. Ashutosh Developers Private Limited (“Promoters”). Accordingly, Promoters constructed a residential building of ground plus 7 floor, 27 Row Houses and 20 Shops known as “Punit Park”. The same was registered on April 28, 1999 as “Cosmopolitan II Co-operative Housing Society Ltd” .
